Kitchen Gardens: A Path to Food Security
Household kitchen gardens are proving to be a game-changer for food security. Through our Food Security program, we have helped over 200 families establish productive kitchen gardens.
The Kitchen Garden Model
We provide free seedlings, training on organic gardening, compost-making demonstrations, and regular follow-up visits.
Results
After six months, families report improved diet diversity and household savings. Many sell surplus produce at local markets.
